At Elite, we've been making Memory foam mattresses since 1995. That may not sound like a long time, but when you consider that memory foam mattresses were not common until around 2000, it is a long time for this particular product. We were the first mattress factory in the St. Louis area to use memory foam.
We've used our experience with Memory foam to come up with mattresses that perform to give you the maximum benefit that Memory foam allows. The Elite Memory foam mattress reduces pressure points and gives the kind of support that lets your back and spinal column relax and rejuvenate during the night hours.
This 8.5" mattress has a cover that really lets you feel the Memory foam inside. It's terrycloth. This cover fabric is stretchy and soft. It molds to your body right with the memory foam. The technical term for Memory foam is visco-elastic foam. It's called that because its elasticity is viscous. When you press down on it, it recovers slowly. The Superba is topped by a 2.5" layer of 4 1b., 10 ILD memory foam. This is a very high grade of foam. It provides a fabulous feel and gives longevity comparable to the best of the best in this industry. Under the luxurious Memory foam, we put a 2" layer of high-density soft grade foam. It also helps with pressure-point reduction. The base foam is a firm grade urethane foam that gives the mattress underlying support.
