This mattress & box spring set is our most popular seller in twin size. Why, you ask does it sell so well? The reason is the value. Go to a warehouse club, big discount furniture stores or mattress specialty chains and you'll find this grade of bedding for between $190 and $250. And most of those do not have a box spring under the mattress, they only have a foundation. A foundation has no springs. If your getting this set for your children, they'll appreciate the fact that you cared enough to get the box springs. They give the bad a softer, more body-conforming feel. And you'll appreciate the fact that they make the mattress last longer, too.
This mattress has a 312 coil, 13-gauge mattress innerspring – the workhorse of the industry. For upholstery, we begin with the heavy-duty poly-fiber insulator pad. The next upholstery layer is 1/2" of firm high-density foam. The cover is quilted to another layer of 3/4" firm foam to provide extra comfort.
The box spring is a supportive 63 coil, 10-gauge unit.
