If you need the firmest mattress & box spring set Elite offers, this is it. It has the same springs as the Regular Ortho, but it has harder style upholstery. So we start with the Leggett & Platt 364 coil, 12.75 gauge spring. It's a very firm rated mattress innerspring and the steel is thickest in the marketplace. Steel edge supports are installed around the border of the spring unit. Our insulator for this mattress is a super firm extruded plastic netting. It's sort of like chicken wire with an attitude. On top of it, we put a firm polyfiber bonded pad. We then add 1" of our firmest foam upholstery. The beautiful damask cover is quilted to another inch of firm foam. Ultra Firm and built to stay that way.
The box spring is our super hard modular unit. This box spring and mattress combine for the most level sleeping surface possible.
